This position has potential for a management role at the location. **Responsibilities** * Coordinate funeral services from initial consultation through final arrangements, ensuring all details align with families’ wishes and legal requirements. * Provide compassionate bereavement support to grieving families, offering guidance and emotional comfort throughout the process. * Oversee event planning for memorial services, including logistics, venue setup, and coordination with vendors or clergy as needed. * Handle heavy lifting involved in transportation and setup of caskets, urns, and funeral equipment safely and efficiently. * Conduct sales activities by explaining service options to families, assisting with product selections such as caskets or urns, and providing detailed information on available packages. **Skills** * Must be fluent in English and Spanish. * Proven experience in funeral directing. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally. * Ability to provide bereavement support that offers comfort while maintaining appropriate boundaries. * Skilled in event planning to organize memorial services that meet families’ needs and expectations. * Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks associated with transportation and setup activities. * Sales acumen to guide families through service options confidently while maintaining sensitivity during emotional times.
