**Funeral Home Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator** The Funeral Home Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and vendors, providing compassionate service while supporting daily administrative and operational needs. This role ensures a welcoming environment, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication across teams. **Job Responsibilities** * Welcome and assist guests and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a respectful and supportive experience * Notify staff of arriving appointments and escort families to appropriate locations * Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to appropriate team members * Respond to routine inquiries regarding services, products, and directions * Escalate customer service concerns and security issues to management promptly * Receive personal belongings from families and ensure proper chain\-of\-custody procedures are followed * Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper records, including decedent records, deeds, and trust files * Demonstrate computer literacy to update, review, and provide clarification on decedent records using company systems * Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages * Maintain a clean, comfortable, and professional lobby and waiting area, including replenishing supplies and offering beverages as needed * Perform general administrative support duties, including typing, proofreading, data entry, printing, and document preparation. **What We Offer** * **Meaningful Work:** Make a meaningful difference by supporting families with compassion and care during some of life’s most challenging moments * **Competitive Compensation \& Benefits:** * Comprehensive medical, dental, prescription, and vision coverage * Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays * Wellness rewards program Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $16\.00 \- $18\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
