As a Funeral Home Administrator, you will oversee daily administrative tasks of the funeral home and ensure accurate and timely processing of all documents. **Duties** * Manage the overall operations of the funeral home, including staff coordination, scheduling, and facility maintenance * Serve as the primary point of contact for families, guiding them through funeral planning processes * Coordinate funeral services, including scheduling, logistics, and liaising with clergy or celebrants to ensure seamless ceremonies * Oversee sales activities related to funeral merchandise and pre\-arranged services, ensuring clear communication and compassionate service * Generate all funeral home related documents to assist the funeral director during the arrangement process * Plan and organize memorial events or community outreach programs to foster connections and support grieving families * Maintain accurate records of all arrangements, legal documentation, and administrative files in compliance with regulations * Maintain all pre\-arrangement records and process computer input * Process online and in\-person deposit and accurately maintain records * Answer all incoming phone calls and greet visitors **Skills** * Strong ability to provide bereavement support with empathy, patience, and active listening skills * Experience in funeral administration or related event planning to coordinate meaningful ceremonies efficiently * Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail * Proven sales skills to confidently discuss funeral options and merchandise with families while demonstrating compassion * Exceptional communication skills for interacting effectively with families, staff, vendors, and community partners * Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in emotionally charged environments * Computer skills required for data input Join us in making a difference every day by helping families celebrate lives with dignity.
