Your energetic approach will help create meaningful memorial experiences that honor lives well\-lived. **Duties** * Perform embalming procedures, including preparation and sanitation, to prepare bodies for viewing while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. * Coordinate funeral arrangements, including event planning, transportation logistics, and service setup to ensure seamless ceremonies. * Provide bereavement support by offering compassionate guidance to grieving families, explaining procedures, and addressing their emotional needs. * Conduct cosmetology tasks such as restorative work to ensure a respectful presentation of the deceased. * Manage heavy lifting and physical tasks involved in body handling and transportation with safety and efficiency. * Engage in sales activities by assisting families in selecting caskets, urns, and memorial products while delivering exceptional customer service. * Maintain detailed records of all procedures, sanitation protocols, and client interactions to ensure compliance with industry standards. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in funeral directing and embalming with a strong understanding of physiology and human anatomy. * Knowledge of preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and cosmetology related to body preparation. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically during sensitive situations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment. * Experience in event planning or coordinating memorial services is highly desirable. * Familiarity with bereavement support practices to assist grieving families effectively. * Certification as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer is required; additional skills in sales or event planning are a plus.
