Funeral Director

**About the Job** **Growing family\-owned firm with multiple locations is seeking a new team member with our Suffolk, VA location:*** Must have completed mortuary school and have a Virginia Funeral Directors License or the ability to gain license. * Must be a detail oriented self\-starter who can handle a fast paced firm and has excellent communication skills to interact with families. * Computer skills required. * Strong organizational and time management are a plus. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs. **Responsibilities include:*** Meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options. * Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services. Training provided. Excellent schedule including every other weekend off. No after\-hours transfers. Salary based on experience. We pay above market wages.
