Funeral Director

Our Funeral Home, caring comes naturally. We are seeking an experienced **Funeral Director/Embalmer** with the following qualifications and skills: * Active and In Good Standing **Funeral Directing and Embalming** License with the state. * Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner. * **Funeral Director** will care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, which include removals and transfers; embalming; dressing; cosmetizing; and casketing. Strong Embalming skills required. * Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains. * Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates, and transit permits. * Assist families wishing to pre\-arrange or pre\-fund funeral arrangements. * Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Death Registry System * Ability to serve and maintain several families in each time. * Excellent communication skills * Detail oriented * Elevated level of empathy and compassion * Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule. * Clean driving record Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $55,000\.00 \- $60,000\.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Education: * Associate (Required) Experience: * Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required) * Funeral directing: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) * Funeral Director License (Required)
