**Job Summary**

In this position, you will coordinate services, manage logistics, and serve as a reliable point of contact for families, ensuring every arrangement is handled with dignity and respect. **Responsibilities**
* Coordinate all aspects of funeral services, including planning, scheduling, and executing ceremonies that honor loved ones with respect and personalization
* Provide empathetic bereavement support to grieving families, offering guidance and reassurance during difficult times
* Oversee the preparation of remains, including embalming, cosmetology, sanitation to ensure respectful presentation
* Manage logistical tasks such as heavy lifting of caskets or equipment, transportation arrangements, and facility setup for services
* Maintain detailed records related to funeral arrangements, legal documentation, and compliance with health and safety standards
* Conduct event planning for memorial services, coordinating with clergy, vendors, and family members.
* Offer sales support by discussing funeral options and merchandise with families
**Skills**
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to properly handle remains
* Excellent customer service skills to provide compassionate guidance and support to grieving families
* Experience in funeral directing with familiarity in event planning and logistical coordination
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to sanitation and safety protocols
* Proficiency in bereavement support techniques to assist families emotionally during their loss
* Knowledge of cosmetology practices for preparing remains for viewings or presentations
* Effective communication skills for liaising with families, vendors, and team members in a sensitive manner
