Front Desk Receptionist

**Greenwood Funeral Homes \~ Cremation** is searching for a **Front Desk Receptionist\-Customer Care Specialist** to work at our Greenwood location. As the face of our Greenwood location, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, support, and compassion to our funeral families and visitors. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will be the main point of contact for our customers. The first impression you provide sets the tone for our guest’s experience and satisfaction. Our ideal candidate is dedicated to going above and beyond for our families to determine their needs, direct them to their destination, help resolve their issues, and make them feel welcomed and valued. You will serve as the liaison between the public and other staff members, so professional behavior and appearance is required. To perform the duties of this job, you will need: * A servant heart; a warm and approachable personality; and an empathetic demeanor. * A genuine desire to help people and to exceed their expectations. * A willingness to work in a professional atmosphere, with high expectations of enhanced customer service and positive interactions. * Experience in a customer\-facing role. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to act accordingly when greeting grieving visitors. * Problem\-solving capabilities. * A minimum of two year's of experience in a clerical setting, working knowledge of MS Office, and light typing skills. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but the schedule may rotate to include working an occasional Saturday or Sunday with an alternate day off during the week.
