Bookkeeper (2 Years - experience required & 2-3 years QuickBooks experience)

Our rapidly growing Decatur based company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company, as well as providing administrative support to satellite locations as needed. Bookkeeping Responsibilities: * Obtain primary financial data for accounting records * Compute and record numerical data * Check the accuracy of business transactions * Perform data entry and administrative duties * Matching, entering, and verifying accounts payable * Post in accounts receivable * Filing * Travel to all satellite locations, as needed, to retrieve batches (mileage reimbursement applicable) * Travel to satellite locations to provide administrative support as needed (mileage reimbursement applicable) Qualifications: * Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or other related fields * Accounting degree (preferred) or other business related fields * Fundamental knowledge of GAAP * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Strong organizational skills * Deadline and detail\-oriented * Experience with QuickBooks * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite * Punctual and dependable * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $19\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Paid training * Vision insurance Education: * Associate (Required) Experience: * Quickbooks Online: 1 year (Required) * Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Decatur, GA 30030 (Required) Work Location: In person
