The Wastewater Service Technician will service septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding area.

Position Overview:
The Wastewater Service Technician will service septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding area.
Essential Duties \& Responsibilities:
* General knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing, including pumps, aerators, control panels and more.
* Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
* Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
* Operate vehicles in a safe manner and use field automations systems.
* Contact and interact with homeowners, engineers, and contractors.
* Explain individual onsite systems and provide training.
* Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings.
* Maintain a clean, stocked work truck and service area.
* Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Education:
* High School, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Skills:
* General understanding of wastewater treatment systems.
* Ability to read an electrical meter to measure OHMS and amperage.
* Ability to troubleshoot minor single phase electrical issues.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems in septic tanks and advanced treatment systems.
* Ability to use and understand a wide range of power tools.
Requirements:
* Must have a valid Class E driver's license and pass an MVR.
* Class A CDL preferred but not required.
* Self\-motivated and able to work independently.
* Must be able to read technical requirements and follow directions.
* Strong verbal and written communication.
* Highly organized with the ability to multi\-task.
* Maintain clean work attire and respectful personal appearance.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.
* Ability to take continuing education classes for industry knowledge.
* Must adhere to OSHA saftey regulations.
Physical Requirements:
* You must be able to lift 80\-100lbs safely.
* Drive up to a 150\-mile radius in a company vehicle including overnight stays on occasion.
