You will have an opportunity to learn from experienced and successful funeral directors. **Removal Technician** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * Must be a willing learner, energetic, a team player, organized and willing to take instructions from multiple supervisors. * Reliable, punctual and consistent. Attention to detail is imperative. * Able to lift at least 100 pounds. * Must hold a valid CA State Driver’s License and possess a clean driving record * Clean drug test * Willing to follow set company protocols * Must have a pleasant demeanor, able to interact with customers in a respectful \& sensitive manner during a removal with great respect for their loved one and home. * Be able to conduct themselves professionally and with empathy towards grieving families. * Willing to complete a pre\-employment personality profile questionnaire. * Required vaccinations for this industry: Hepatitis C. * Willing to occasionally be on call outside of regular work schedule, which is Monday\-Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm. * Basic data entry and word processing experience is required. **JOB DESCRIPTION** * Removal of remains from private residences and facilities such as hospitals, coroner offices and senior care facilities, using a company vehicle * Transporting of casketed and cremated remains, flowers \& memorial products * Maintain cleanliness of cold storage and preparation areas, as well as company\-owned vehicles * Assist with funeral and memorial services as needed, including transporting of casketed or cremated remains to the service location and cemetery * Picking up and dropping off official documents at county vital statistics office * Data entry \& word processing * Administrative duties as assigned * Light janitorial Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $18\.00 \- $20\.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Are you considering a career in the funeral industry? * Do you have experience in the funeral industry?
