Transportation Specialist

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of mortuary transportation and operational excellence. **Responsibilities** * Safely operate a vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies * Provide excellent customer service by assisting decedents with boarding, disembarking, and addressing inquiries professionally * Load and unload decedents with proper heavy lifting techniques when necessary * Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly **Experience** * Proven experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver with a strong track record of safe driving * Experience operating various vehicle types such as buses, limousines, or paratransit vehicles is highly preferred * Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading or unloading tasks * Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with families, funeral home personnel and team members * Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills * Valid driver’s license * Prior experience in customer service roles involving transportation or hospitality is advantageous Join us as a Transportation Specialist to play a vital role in connecting decedents with their destinations while ensuring safety, reliability, and outstanding service.
