Summer Intern – Administrative Assistant

We specialize in green cremation and alternative funeral services that reduce environmental impact while supporting families with compassion and dignity. **Position Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and compassionate Summer Intern to support our administrative and care center operations. This role is ideal for someone interested in healthcare administration, funeral service, or environmentally focused businesses. The intern will assist with case management, documentation, and customer service while gaining exposure to crematory operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist with **paperwork processing** and maintaining accurate records * Support **case management**, including tracking and updating client files * Provide **customer service support** via phone, email, and in\-person inquiries * Help coordinate **care center operations** and workflow logistics * Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements * Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism * Perform general administrative tasks as needed **Qualifications** * Strong organizational and attention\-to\-detail skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism * Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools * Interest in sustainability, healthcare, or funeral services is a plus * Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team **Reporting Structure** This position reports directly to the **Crematory Supervisor**. **What You’ll Gain** * Hands\-on experience in a growing, mission\-driven company * Exposure to eco\-friendly funeral practices and operations * Development of administrative, customer service, and case management skills * Meaningful work supporting families during important life moments Pay: $15\.00 \- $17\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
