Job Description
**Schedule:**Part Time – 48 hours/pay period – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
**Pay Range:** $22\.00/hr. to $25\.00/hr. based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Spiritual Care Counselor, you will:
* **Provide Spiritual \& Emotional Support** – Offer prayer, life review, and counseling to patients and families, adapting care to individual beliefs and preferences.
* **Serve as a Resource \& Liaison** – Build relationships with community clergy and connect patients with spiritual care services as needed.
* **Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings** – Collaborate with hospice staff to integrate spiritual care into patient\-centered care plans.
* **Offer Crisis Intervention \& Bereavement Support** – Assist families and caregivers through grief, trauma, and stress, providing compassionate guidance during difficult times.
* **Document \& Maintain Patient Care Plans** – Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient needs, interventions, and family support efforts

* Valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
* Ability to pass state mandated background check.
* Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
* Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, patients, and families.
