**Salary** $17\.29 Hourly **Location**Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services \- City of Colorado Springs, CO **Job Type** Seasonal **Job Number** 18282 **Division** Parks, Rec \& Cultural Svc **Department** Cemetery **Opening Date** 06/15/2026 **Closing Date** 6/19/2026 5:00 PM Mountain **FLSA** Non\-Exempt **Description / Position Overview** ----------------------------------- **SEASONAL \- PT Cemetery Support** Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services’ Cemetery Enterprise seeks a qualified individual to serve in a supportive role to work directly with staff on a variety of projects with a focus on mapping and site inventory within both Evergreen and Fairview Cemeteries. **As PT Cemetery Support, you will:** * Evaluate potential burial sites in existing inventory * Use Cemetery Maps, Cemetery Records and Ground Penetrating Radar * Perform quantitative assessment and evaluation * Other duties as assigned *We are looking for candidates with the ability to:* * Think and act independently, problem solve, and work with minimal supervision * Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing * Comply with pertinent City and division policies and procedures * Read maps and determine locations using coordinates **Minimum Qualifications** -------------------------- *We value a diverse range of qualifications and experiences. It often demands the ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
