If you thrive in an active environment and take pride in creating inviting outdoor environments, this role is perfect for you! **Duties** * Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. * Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees, and shrubbery to enhance visual appeal. * Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and planting. * Use equipment such as excavators and snow plows to manage terrain and seasonal weather challenges. * Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes. * Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces for paving or stonework and maintaining existing structures. * Conduct routine inspections of grounds for safety hazards or maintenance needs and perform minor repairs as needed. **Experience** * Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! * Basic mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery like excavators or snow plows. * Familiarity with horticulture principles, tree care techniques including trimming and pruning. * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks. * Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, and landscape maintenance standards is a plus. * Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and equipment use.
