We are seeking a professional, results\-oriented Sales Manager to lead our showroom operations in Reedsburg. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with local funeral homes, cemetery sextons, and families, while identifying their needs and recommending tailored products and services.
We are proud to be the nation’s largest family\-owned cemetery headstone and monument company, now in our fifth generation. While cemetery memorials remain our primary focus, our offerings have expanded to include commemorative plaques, brick fundraising programs, commercial signage, park benches, and veterans memorials. In this position, you will consult with families and clients to sell and design meaningful, lasting memorial products. We provide the tools, support, and comprehensive training needed to help you succeed.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Based at our Reedsburg location (Krause Monument Company), sell and design products and services that support families, while assisting funeral directors and cemetery sextons with sales orders.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism.
* Create personalized cemetery headstone designs in accordance with cemetery regulations and client preferences.
* Process sales orders accurately, including all specifications for materials, style, measurements, finishes, and design details within our ERP system.
* Monitor order status, collect customer payments, and ensure timely completion and finalization of orders.
* Conduct follow\-up calls and correspondence with prospective customers to support business development efforts.
* Visit area cemeteries within the assigned territory to identify granite for matching, verify inscriptions, and gather rubbings and photographs needed to complete sales orders.
* Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming showroom environment, including the office, restroom, and exterior of the building.
**Qualifications**
* Previous retail or commission\-based sales experience is required.
* Candidates must reside in or near Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
* Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership for the success of the location.
* Excellent customer service and relationship\-building skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing work tasks.
* Ability to work independently with dependable attendance.
* Strong computer proficiency; SAP or ERP experience is preferred.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
**Compensation and Benefits**
* Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, with first\-year earnings between $55,000 \- $65,000\.
* Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
