Sales Associate

Job Summary: The Monastery of the Holy Spirit is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team in the Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery. The cemetery has been in operation for 20 years and is the largest natural cemetery in the US. Natural cemeteries save land and create significant nature preserves. Natural or “green” burial is simple and affordable. The Honey Creek Woodlands are nestled into more than 1,000 acres of permanently protected wetlands, streams and native hardwood forests, Honey Creek Woodlands is protected by a strong conservation easement and an endowment created from a portion of plot sales. The 70 acres of Monastery land designated for the burial grounds contains hundreds of plant species and abundant wildlife. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to communicate compassion to all who come to the office seeking advice. They must be able to learn how we do business and be able to clearly communicate that to our clients. The service we give to all must be exceptional. Part\-time position, 24 hours per week. Hours of operation from 9\-5\. Must be able to work on Mon, Fri, Sat only. Duties: \- Greet and assist customers in a welcoming manner \- Provide product information and recommendations to customers \- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently \- Maintain a clean and organized sales area/office \- Assist in inventory management and other tasks. Qualifications: \- Previous experience in customer service or cemetery plot sales preferred \- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail \- Knowledge of MS Office and related computer skills. \- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members \- Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are advantageous \-Must like nature and being outside showing customers around \- Able to be outdoors in all types of weather for long periods of time \- Bilingual (preferred) \- Must be able to work Mon 9\-5, Fri 9\-5, and Saturday 9\-5 no exceptions This position offers the opportunity to develop your sales skills in a controlled environment.
