Removal Technician

Job Title: Removal Technician / Maintenance \& Errand Driver Company: Mountain View Mortuary Location: Reno,NV On\-Site Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $16\-19/hr depending on experience Job Description: Mountain View Mortuary is seeking a dependable, professional, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Removal Technician / Maintenance \& Errand Driver. This role is essential to our daily operations and involves the respectful transfer of decedents, facility upkeep, and support with various errands and tasks. This position requires someone who is detail\-oriented, respectful, and able to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Perform removals and transfers of decedents from homes, hospitals, and other locations in a respectful and dignified manner Assist with preparation and care of decedents as directed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mortuary, vehicles, and equipment Perform basic maintenance tasks and facility upkeep Run errands such as picking up supplies, delivering paperwork, and transporting items Follow all safety, health, and company protocols Be available for on\-call or after\-hours work as needed Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record High school diploma or GED required Previous maintenance or facility experience preferred Ability to lift and move up to 150lbs with assistance Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Must be of good moral character Preferred Qualities: Experience working in a funeral home or healthcare setting Compassionate and calm demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Employment Terms: This position includes a 90\-day (three\-month) probationary period to assess performance, reliability, and overall fit within the team. Due to the professional standards and expectations of our industry, employees must maintain a conservative and respectful appearance. Visible tattoos must be covered while on duty.
