**Duties**
* Develop and implement strategic outside sales initiatives to promote preneed funeral services across designated territories.
* Engage with prospective funeral homes through direct outreach, telemarketing, and industry events to educate them on prearranged funeral options.
* Train counselors to close sales by understanding client needs, explaining product benefits, and addressing concerns transparently.
* Collaborate with funeral home staff, insurance providers, and marketing teams to enhance service delivery and outreach efforts.
* Maintain detailed sales administration records, track client interactions, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including HIPAA privacy rules.
* Conduct analysis of market trends and funeral home feedback to refine sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
* Provide ongoing customer service support, benefits administration guidance, and follow\-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
**Experience**
* Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Prefer 5 years of funeral experience.
* Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to effectively articulate product value propositions.
* Familiarity with sales administration tools, marketing strategies, and analysis skills to optimize outreach efforts.
* Experience in telemarketing or cold calling to funeral homes is advantageous for territory growth.
