Join our dynamic team as a Preneed Funeral Sales Manager, where you will lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives to promote prearranged funeral plans. This role offers an exciting opportunity to connect with funeral homes and communities, providing compassionate guidance while driving business growth. As a key player in our organization, you will utilize your outside sales expertise and negotiation skills, to expand our reach and ensure funeral homes receive personalized, respectful service. Your leadership will foster a customer\-centric environment focused on delivering peace of mind through comprehensive pre\-need solutions. Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective outside sales strategies to identify and engage prospective funeral homes across diverse communities.
* Build strong relationships with funeral homes, community organizations, and referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
* Conduct detailed needs assessments with funeral homes to explain available pre\-need funeral options and benefits clearly and empathetically.
* Train counselors to facilitate the sale of prearranged funeral plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and company policies.
* Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, follow\-up communications, and maintaining accurate records of funeral home/counselor interactions.
* Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine marketing approaches and improve service delivery.
* Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members on sales techniques, communication skills, and cultural sensitivity to enhance overall performance. Qualifications
* Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Prefer 5 years in funeral industry
* Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in customer service roles within a sales environment, emphasizing empathy and active listening.
* Knowledge of sales administration processes, marketing strategies, and benefits administration is preferred.
* Analytical skills to assess market data, client needs, and competitive landscape effectively.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to confidentiality in healthcare or related fields is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team setting; experience in telemarketing or outreach campaigns is a plus. Pay: $75,000\.00 \- $150,000\.00 per year
