Pet Crematory Manager

**Overview:** We are seeking a reliable and organized Full\-Time Pet Crematory Manager to join our team. This position requires strong leadership, marketing and administration skills as well as a love for animals. The ideal candidate will provide managerial support and assist in daily operations. **Duties:** \- Management of all logistical aspects of the location which include performing and/or coordination of: crematory support, location and vet partner support, internal and external transfers, community and vet partner education/training, providing a high\-level customer experience, team management \- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments and managing emails \- Pick up and transport animals safely from vet offices to our facility daily as needed \- Helping to assist in after hours phone calls to dispatch and transfer pet family members into our care \- Maintaining community relationships with partnered clinics and vets \- Keeping pet transfer vehicles clean and stocked of supplies \- Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with additional office tasks as needed \- Ability to lift larger animals (50\-75 Pounds) **Required Skills:** \- High school diploma or equivalent \- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record \- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion \- Strong organizational, leadership and multitasking skills **Nice\-to\-Have Skills:** \- Previous experience in a management role \- Background in animal or veterinary procedures \- Knowledge of administrative and operational functions \- Excellent customer support skills If you are a proactive individual with compassion and the ability to multitask effectively, we encourage you to join our team and make a difference in the lives of animals \& their families! **How to Apply:** Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and availability to gia@mcalister\-smith.com Pay: $19\.00 \- $21\.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Administrative: 1 year (Preferred) * Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Cayce, SC 29033 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Cayce, SC 29033: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
