Job Description
Position Overview The Office Aftercare Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting families during the loss of their beloved pets. This position requires a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence, as you will guide families through one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Responsibilities include managing aftercare services, coordinating cremation processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing compassionate communication to clients.
Key Responsibilities \- Serve as a primary point of contact for grieving pet families
\- Provide compassionate, patient, and emotionally aware guidance on aftercare and cremation services
\- Recognize and respond appropriately to varying stages of grief
\- Coordinate intake, identification, and tracking of pets with dignity and care
\- Schedule cremations and memorial services
\- Maintain accurate records and documentation
\- Manage invoicing and payments
\- Prepare memorial items and packages with attention to detail Qualifications
\- Customer service or administrative experience preferred
\- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
\- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive situations
\- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, scheduling systems, and office software) Personal Attributes
