**Music Therapist (MT\-BC)** **Location:** Western \& Central Ohio **Type:** Full\-Time \| 40 hours/week **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM ***Offering Relocation Bonus Opportunities*** **Job Summary** We are seeking a compassionate Music Therapist (MT\-BC) to provide therapeutic music services to active and bereaved patients and their families. This role works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to support emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs through music therapy. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct music therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans * Provide music therapy interventions addressing medical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs * Utilize techniques such as music listening, songwriting, improvisation, lyric discussion, and performance * Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings (IDG) * Assist with bereavement and grief support services * Educate staff, volunteers, and the community on music therapy * Complete timely and accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards * Supervise students, interns, or volunteers as applicable **Pay \& Benefits** * Medical, dental, and vision eligibility 1st of the month following hire * Employer\-sponsored direct care program: full\-time employees receive free covered medical visits with no deductibles, copays, or out\-of\-pocket costs (coverage varies by visit type/service) * 30 paid days off per year (PTO, sick time, and holidays) * 401(k) eligibility 1st of the month following hire * Employer\-paid short\-term disability * Tuition reimbursement * Incentives and shift differentials * Mileage \& cell phone reimbursement * Monthly employee recognition events * PayActiv—early access to earned wages * PSLF\-qualified employer * $100 initial clothing allowance for full\-time positions * ***Offering Relocation Bonus Opportunities*** **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy (AMTA\-approved program) * MT\-BC certification required * Current Ohio LPMT licensure * Minimum 2 years of clinical experience * Hospice or healthcare experience preferred * Strong knowledge of therapeutic music techniques and diverse musical styles * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
