This is a paid position that plays a crucial part in honoring loved ones and supporting grieving families during difficult times. **Responsibilities** * Safely operate various vehicles including shuttle vans, limousines, and heavy\-duty trucks to transport deceased individuals. * Assist with the loading and unloading of bodies, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols. * Maintain clear communication with funeral homes, hospitals, and other facilities to coordinate pick\-up and delivery schedules. * Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation at all times. * Provide courteous customer service to families and facility staff, demonstrating empathy and professionalism throughout every interaction. * Comply with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and health guidelines related to mortuary transportation. * Assist with logistical tasks such as route planning and documentation of transport activities. **Experience** * Previous experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or commercial transportation is highly preferred. * Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling bodies or equipment. * Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with team members, clients, and facility staff. * Valid driver’s license.
