Mortuary Transport Technician

**Job Summary** We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Mortuary Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the respectful and timely transport of deceased individuals from various locations to our facility. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle sensitive situations with dignity and professionalism. **Duties** * Safely transport deceased individuals from hospitals, homes, or other locations to the mortuary. * Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. * Communicate effectively with families, hospital staff, and other professionals during transport. * Assist in heavy lifting and moving of caskets or other equipment as needed. * Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on duty. * Provide exceptional customer service by being empathetic and understanding towards grieving families. **Requirements** * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with transporting individuals. * Strong communication skills to interact professionally with families and staff. * Previous experience in customer service roles is a plus. * Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with care. * A compassionate demeanor and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
