Mortuary Transport Removal Attendant

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional, compassionate service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of deceased individuals. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform some heavy lifting as needed. The Attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional, safe removal amd transport of deceased individuals , while providing a positive and comforting experience for grieving individuals and families. **Duties** * Safely operate vehicles and equipment including vans, to transport the deceased to funeral homes, mortuaries and donor facilities. * Assist with the removal and loading of deceased individuals from residences, nursing homes and facilities while ensuring their safety at all times. * Communicate effectively with our dispatch team members to provide efficient service. * Complete all necessary paperwork in a professional, organized manner. * Maintain a professional level of appearance and performance standards at all times. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior and exterior. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. **Skills** * Experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. * Familiarity with the Funeral Industry practices is preferred, but not required. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with multiple organizations and team members. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required . * A valid driver's license and clean driving record is essential.
