Mortuary Removal Technician

**MORTUARY REMOVAL TECHNICIAN** Job duties: One year experience trandsporting human remains. Perform removal of the decedent from hospital, nursing home, residence, coroner's office, and donor facilities and transport to funeral homes, prep rooms, coroner's offices, airports, and donor facilities Thoroughly complete pertinent paperwork and ID tags. Respectfully and professionally interact with grieving families, healthcare staff, mortuary employees, law enforcement, and coworkers. Maintains and ensures removal vehicle is clean inside and out, and is properly maintained. Maintains adequate supply of PPE in removal vehicle. Act in a professional, responsible manner. Must be able to follow directions, policies, and procedures with little supervision. **Requirements:** Valid Georgia driver's license with 3 years of driving experience and a clean MVR. Professional business attire Physical requirements include the ability to: Sit for extended periods of time Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions Lift, push, and pull objects or equipment Move up and down stairs easily Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling.
