Licensed Embalmer

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Embalmer for a full\-time, on\-site position. The Licensed Embalmer will be responsible for embalming and preparing deceased individuals for services, ensuring proper care and presentation in alignment with client preferences. Additional duties will include maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards, adhering to all regulations and guidelines, coordinating with funeral directors, and providing compassionate service to families during their time of need. A commitment to excellence in care and attention to detail is essential in this role. Qualifications: Louisiana State licensure as a Licensed Embalmer required Proficiency in embalming techniques, preparation methods, and restorative art Knowledge of safety, health, and sanitation regulations in the funeral services sector Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to support grieving families Effective organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a timely manner Ability to collaborate with funeral directors and other team members Experience handling embalming tools, chemicals, and equipment safely Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From $21\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
