Licensed Embalmer

The Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer is responsible for assisting families in making funeral and memorial arrangements while ensuring services are carried out with professionalism, dignity, and compassion. Duties include meeting with families to plan services, completing required documentation, coordinating visitations and funerals, and working with cemeteries, clergy, and other service providers. Responsibilities also include embalming and preparing the deceased for burial or cremation, performing restorative work, dressing and casketing, and maintaining a clean and safe preparation room in accordance with health and safety regulations. Applicants must hold a current Funeral Director and Embalmer license in the state of employment, have strong communication skills, and be able to work evenings, weekends, and on\-call rotations as needed.
