Janitorial Worker Part-Time

The part\-time Janitorial Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a respectful and dignified environment for our clients and their families. **Specific Responsibilities** * Clean and sanitize all areas of the funeral home, including chapels, restrooms, offices, and reception areas. * Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly. * Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment. * Vacuum and mop floors, ensuring they are spotless and free of debris. * Clean and disinfect surfaces, such as countertops, door handles, and light switches. * Assist with setting up and breaking down funeral services as needed. * Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles used for funeral processions. * Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the management team. * Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized. **Experience and Educational Requirements** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Compassionate and respectful demeanor, with the ability to handle sensitive situations. * Reliable and punctual **Other Duties** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
