Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven and activity\-oriented Institutional Sales \& Outreach Specialist to generate measurable growth in inbound funeral service calls through consistent institutional outreach.
This is a high\-activity, field\-based role requiring daily prospecting, in\-person visits, and structured follow\-up.
**You will not close the final sale. Your responsibility is to generate the opportunity.**
Revenue begins with outreach — and this role drives that pipeline.
**Monthly Performance expectations:**
The right candidate must be comfortable operating with clear activity and performance expectations:
* Conduct **12–15 institutional visits per week**
* Conduct **6 In\-Service presentation meetings weekly**
* Execute **2 engagement events per month** (luncheons, educational sessions, appreciation events, community presentations)
* Reactivate inactive institutional accounts
* Maintain structured weekly follow\-up cadence
* Track all activity in CRM daily
* Drive measurable increase in inbound calls from assigned accounts
This position is measured by:
* Institutional activity levels
* Account activation
* Inbound call growth
* Revenue attributed to outreach efforts
**What You Will Be Doing**
* Building relationships with hospitals, hospices, skilled nursing facilities, consulates, and community leaders
* Scheduling and conducting in\-service presentations
* Representing the organization professionally in the field
* Developing new institutional accounts through proactive outreach
* Maintaining consistent visibility and presence in the community
* Creating referral momentum that converts into revenue
This is not a passive relationship role. It requires discipline, initiative, and consistent field activity.
**Requirements**
* Proven outbound sales or B2B prospecting experience.
* Comfortable with cold calling and in\-person visits
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or institutional markets preferred
* Professional presentation skills
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* KPI\-driven and accountable
* Ability to travel 75% of the time (mileage reimbursement provided).
* Must have a personal vehicle for work\-related travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
