Job Description
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Imam to join our team as a vital leader in providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals facing loss and grief. **Duties**
* Deliver compassionate bereavement support and hospice care services to patients and their families, ensuring emotional comfort during difficult times
* Develop and lead educational programs, workshops, and community events focused on grief management, Christian counseling, and end\-of\-life care
* Serve as a public speaker and presenter at community gatherings, religious institutions, and health fairs to raise awareness about hospice services and bereavement resources
* Mentor staff, volunteers, and family members by providing guidance on crisis intervention, conflict management, and effective communication techniques
* Coordinate event planning for memorial services, support groups, and outreach initiatives that promote healing and community connection
* Provide crisis management during emergencies or emotional crises with sensitivity, professionalism, and clear action plans
* Maintain detailed documentation through writing skills that accurately record patient interactions, program outcomes, and educational materials
**Qualifications**
* Proven experience in bereavement support, hospice care, or related fields with a strong foundation in Christian counseling preferred
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate group discussions effectively
* Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience mentoring others and managing conflict or crisis situations confidently
* Strong event planning abilities to organize community outreach programs, memorial services, and educational workshops
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism under pressure
* Excellent writing skills for documentation, report writing, and creating educational content
* Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques along with the ability to manage crises compassionately and efficiently
