Our commitment to our team speaks for itself — we've been named a **Top Workplace by the Indianapolis Star for six consecutive years**, and we're just getting started. **If you're the best at what you do, come do it with us.** ### **Job Description** * Part\-time Hospice RN On\-Call * Flexible Schedule (10 or 12 hour shifts) * Territory: We respond to on\-call needs within an hour * Performs physical and psychosocial assessment on all hospice patients. * Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management. * Responds to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families. * Assesses patient’s condition, initiates plan of care, re\-evaluates and updates as necessary. * Obtains all necessary physician orders and collaborates with physician as patient’s needs dictate. * Initiates case conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team responsibilities, pain management, bereavement counseling, etc. ### **Benefits** * Competitive salary * Mileage reimbursement * Excellent PTO program * Every Friday is payday! * Health, dental, vision * 401k match program * Great team environment! ### **Requirements** * One year Hospice experience preferred * 1 year of RN experience required * Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Indiana * Current driver's license * Must have reliable transportation and insurance We hope to speak with you about the rewarding nature of hospice nursing!
