We are actively seeking compassionate professionals to join our team in delivering exceptional patient care with the core values of providing compassion, care, and comfort. **Availability:**
Currently, we have a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain position available **(available as needed)**, which involves providing spiritual care to our patients and their loved ones.
**As a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain, you will:**
* Be responsible for providing direct spiritual care to hospice patients and families/caregivers.
* Serves as liaison and support to community chaplains and spiritual counselors in supporting hospice patients/families.
* Participate in developing the interdisciplinary care plan for hospice patients.
* Document direct services and ongoing communication with community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
* Attends patient care conferences and interdisciplinary group meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary group.
* Assist in training community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and spiritual care volunteers to adequately meet patient and family/caregiver needs by developing community contacts and offering education through congregations about hospice care.
* Actively participates in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.
* Provides funeral or memorial services for patients as requested.
**About You:**
**The candidate must meet these position qualifications:**
* Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree) is preferred.
* A current driver’s license is required.
* Reliable transportation is required.
**Additional Experience Preferred:**
* Two years of active work in spiritual ministry/program, and ability to work with family units and community spiritual leaders of various spiritual backgrounds.
* One year of clinical pastoral education is preferred.
**Wage:** Hourly \- $25\.00 \- $35\.00
Pay: $25\.00 \- $35\.00 per hour
