**Responsibilities**
* Provide spiritual counseling, prayer, and religious rites tailored to each patient’s faith tradition or personal beliefs
* Offer bereavement support to families before and after the loss of loved ones through individual or group sessions
* Lead educational sessions, workshops, and community outreach programs on topics related to hospice care, spirituality, and grief management
* Serve as a public speaker at community events to promote understanding of hospice services and spiritual well\-being
* Develop and deliver engaging presentations that address emotional resilience, crisis management, and Christian counseling principles
* Mentor healthcare staff on spiritual care best practices and conflict management techniques to enhance team cohesion
* Respond promptly to crises or urgent spiritual needs with crisis intervention skills, ensuring patients and families feel supported and understood
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in hospice care or palliative settings with a strong background in spiritual counseling or chaplaincy
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to listen actively, convey compassion clearly, and facilitate open dialogue
* Strong presentation skills for teaching, public speaking engagements, and leading community events
* Demonstrated leadership abilities in mentoring staff or volunteers within healthcare or religious organizations
* Expertise in bereavement support, crisis intervention, Christian counseling, and conflict management
* Ability to plan and organize educational events or workshops effectively
* Certification or licensure as a chaplain or spiritual counselor preferred; relevant training in crisis management highly valued

Pay: $40\.00 \- $50\.00 per hour
