Hospice Chaplain

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Chaplain to provide essential spiritual care and support to patients and their families facing terminal illness. If you are a skilled spiritual leader with a deep understanding of diverse religious and spiritual expressions, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities:** * Provide spiritual assessment, counseling, and support to patients and families navigating end\-of\-life. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate spiritual care into the patient's plan of care. * Act as a liaison between patients/families and their local clergy. * Network with community resources and represent our Hospice professionally. * Assist the Bereavement Coordinator with after\-care visitations and memorial services. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of spiritual care visits. **Qualifications:** * Graduate of an accredited school of theology. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in pastoral care. * Training in grief and bereavement counseling required; previous experience preferred. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle delicate situations with tact and diplomacy. * Current Colorado Driver's License and reliable, insured transportation. * Proficiency in basic computer skills. * Ability to understand and respect diverse spiritual and religious perspectives. **Why Join our team?** Make a profound difference in the lives of patients and families during a critical time.
