**Part\-Time Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor**Join Our Compassionate Hospice Team
We are seeking a **Part\-Time Spiritual Care Counselor** to join our hospice team and provide compassionate spiritual support to patients and families during their end\-of\-life journey.
This role is an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team and focuses on helping patients and loved ones find comfort, meaning, dignity, and peace.

**Position Responsibilities**The Spiritual Care Counselor will:
* Conduct spiritual assessments as part of the comprehensive patient assessment
* Assist in developing and implementing the patient’s individualized plan of care
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
* Provide ongoing spiritual and emotional support to patients and families
* Respect and support each patient’s individual beliefs, values, culture, and spiritual preferences
* Collaborate with local clergy and faith communities when requested by the patient or family
* Support patients and families through grief, transitions, and end\-of\-life experiences
* Document visits and communicate effectively with the care team
**Qualifications**Applicants should have:
* Ordination, commission, or credentialing through an organized religious group
* **OR**
* A degree in theology or completion of seminary trainingAdditional Requirements:
* Comfortable working in an interfaith environment
* Ability to respect diverse lifestyles, beliefs, cultures, and values
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Compassionate, empathetic, and patient\-centered approach
* Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
