Grounds Keeper for cemetery

**Benefits:** * Free uniforms * Training \& development **Job Summary** We are seeking a **Groundskeeper** to join our team. In this role, you will trim trees and hedges, mow and manicure laws, maintain gardens, and keep pathways clean. Ultimately, your goal is to keep the facility’s surroundings beautiful and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of lawn care and landscaping. **Responsibilities:** * Mow, weed, and edge lawn areas around headstones * Maintain garden areas, including pruning and weeding * Trim hedges, bushes, and trees * Maintain clean pathways * Must be able to lift 50 pounds with full range of motion * Operate push and riding mowers, as well as other landscaping equipment * Full time hours are Monday to Friday \- 7am to 4pm. Occasional weekend duties **Qualifications**: * Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred * High school diploma/GED is preferred * Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery * Sprinkler system will be taught * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods * Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
