Funeral Service Assistant

Work hours vary according to the funeral and visitation schedules but will be at least 30 hours per week. **Responsibilities** * Setup and breakdown for funeral services, visitations, and Rosaries. * Setup and manage audio/visual equipment during events (CD\-DVD presentations). * Handle heavy lifting of caskets, equipment, and floral arrangements safely and efficiently. * Support funeral activities by preparing transportation and assisting with procession details; requires driving company vehicles. * Other duties as needed to ensure our funeral families are served. **Skills** * Strong ability to provide compassionate bereavement support with sensitivity and understanding. * Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks involved in setup and transportation. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with families, team members, and vendors. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast\-paced environment. This job requires regular and reliable attendance; excellent communication skills; groomed and professional appearance; valid Texas driver’s license; and an insurable driving record. Knowledge of the Metroplex will be helpful. Candidate must be self\-motivated and work effectively without direct supervision. Visitations and rosaries will require the ability to set up, connect and utilize audio/visual equipment. This role is essential in creating meaningful experiences for those we serve.
