**Overview**
Join our compassionate team as a Funeral Home Manager, where you will lead and oversee all aspects of funeral home operations with dedication, professionalism, and heartfelt care. This vital role combines leadership, technical expertise, and empathetic customer service to ensure families receive respectful and meaningful support during their most difficult times. As a Funeral Home Manager, you will coordinate funeral arrangements, manage staff, uphold sanitation standards, and ensure smooth event planning to provide a dignified experience for every family we serve.
**Responsibilities**
* Oversee daily funeral home operations, ensuring all services are conducted with compassion, professionalism, and adherence to legal and ethical standards
* Coordinate funeral arrangements from initial consultation through service completion, including scheduling and logistics management
* Lead and supervise staff members such as funeral directors, cosmetologists, and support personnel to maintain high\-quality service delivery
* Provide bereavement support to grieving families, offering guidance and emotional comfort throughout the process
* Manage event planning for funerals and memorial services, ensuring all details—from transportation to venue setup—are executed flawlessly
* Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols within the facility, including proper dissection procedures when necessary
* Handle sales activities related to funeral packages and merchandise while maintaining a focus on compassionate customer service
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in funeral directing or related fields with strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of transportation or setup tasks
* Expertise in bereavement support, offering empathetic guidance to grieving families
* Knowledge of sanitation standards and cosmetology skills for preparing the deceased for viewings
* Familiarity with event planning processes to coordinate funeral services seamlessly
* Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate clearly and compassionately under pressure
* Experience in sales within a service\-oriented environment is preferred
* Ability to perform dissection when required for preparation purposes

License/Certification:
