We are looking for a dynamic, self\-starter to join The Omega Society team and act as the Community Engagement partner on site, building meaningful community partnerships and driving referrals.
**The Opportunity**
As the Community Engagement Lead (CEL) for The Omega Society, you are the face of the business across Orange County and surrounding Southern California communities. This is a relationship\-driven, field\-based role for someone who thrives on being out in the community — building trust, creating partnerships, and making meaningful connections.
The Omega Society is a long\-standing Orange County cremation provider focused on simple and affordable services delivered with compassion and care.
In this role, you will build and grow a portfolio of community relationships, helping families navigate end\-of\-life planning while supporting sustainable growth for The Omega Society. The position is based at The Omega Society location and works closely with the on\-site leadership team while spending significant time in the community developing partnerships and outreach opportunities.

* Funeral industry experience is helpful but not required. We're looking for heart, drive, credibility, and the ability to build trust.
**What You'll Own**
Community Relationship Building
* Develop and grow strategic partnerships with hospices, healthcare providers, clergy, veterans' organizations, first responders, senior living communities, and other referral sources.
* Serve as a trusted liaison between The Omega Society team and community partners.
* Build long\-term, trust\-based relationships that create consistent referrals and meaningful impact.
* Track and manage relationship pipelines using CRM tools.
Education \& Advocacy
* Lead educational workshops and presentations on pre\-planning, end\-of\-life options, and grief support.
* Provide resources and guidance to families and healthcare professionals.
* Position The Omega Society as the trusted local expert in end\-of\-life planning.
Program \& Event Leadership
* Organize and execute community events, memorial programs, and grief support initiatives.
* Collaborate with The Omega Society leadership team to align outreach with growth and referral goals.
* Develop creative engagement strategies tailored to your market.
**Who You Are**
You're someone people trust quickly. You build authentic connections and follow through. You're comfortable walking into a room of strangers and building meaningful relationships.
* Proven relationship\-building or business development experience
* Experience in healthcare, community outreach, nonprofit work, sales, or partnership development
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Spanish and English fluency, both spoken and written
* High personal accountability and organizational skills.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally throughout the community
* Comfort attending community events and programs, including occasional evenings or weekends
* Funeral, hospice, or healthcare experience is a plus.
