Funeral Home Assistant / Removal Technician (Full\-Time) Schedule: Monday–Friday \| 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Floating between three funeral home locations Employment Type: Full\-Time About the Position We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Full\-Time Funeral Home Assistant. This position will float between three funeral home locations and provide daily operational support to our funeral directors and staff. This role is essential to ensuring families receive professional, respectful, and seamless care during their time of need. Primary Responsibilities * Performing decedent removals from homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, and medical examiner offices• Assisting with cremation operations• Transporting decedents between locations• Cleaning and maintaining preparation rooms and facility spaces• Detailing and maintaining funeral vehicles (hearses, vans, service vehicles)• Setting up and breaking down for services and visitations• Assisting funeral directors with daily operational tasks• General maintenance and support duties as needed Qualifications * Valid driver’s license with clean driving record• Ability to lift and move 100\+ lbs (with assistance and equipment)• Professional appearance and demeanor• Strong work ethic and reliability• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and discretion• Comfortable working in a funeral service environment• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in funeral service is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates maturity, respect, and initiative.
