**Funeral Attendant\- Part Time** **Summary** For over 40 years, Olinger \- Saenz Mortuary Service has been providing funeral services to families and other funeral homes in San Antonio and surrounding communities. We also specialize in Military and Veteran funerals and Out\-of\-State and International Shipping. We are looking for trained, experienced, and professional staff to assist with daily operations. This position will primarily be focused on front office duties for one of our 4 locations. Staff will be responsible for answering phones, engaging with families, and assisting with funeral services and visitations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** · Answer phones and engage customers with respect and courtesy · Ensure proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner as assigned · Exercise careful and diligent care for the deceased and their grieving families · Setup and takedown for funeral services and visitations · Staff work Monday\-Friday 8:00am\-4:30pm with possible evening hours for visitations · Two part time positions are available **Minimum Qualifications** · Experience working in an office setting · Clear background check · A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record · Professional communication skills · Experience handling sensitive situations in a professional manner **Preferred Qualifications** · Bilingual (English/Spanish) **Benefits** · Hourly compensation will be based on years of experience · This position is not eligible for benefits Job Type: Part\-time Pay: $10\.00 \- $13\.00 per hour Experience: * Funeral Home: 1 year (Preferred)
