Now Hiring Funeral Home Support Staff We currently have a job opening for a Funeral Associate / Assistant at Larry's Livery \& Funeral Coach Service. This is a part time position for someone who enjoys a caregiving roll while working in a professional profession. This job opening is perfect for newly retired individuals who are looking for some extra income and a flexible work schedule. Overview and Responsibilities: * Assisting the Licensed Funeral Director during funeral services, visitations/viewings and burial services. * Keep a friendly and welcoming attitude while greeting the public for all services. * Distributing bulletins and service programs. * Assisting in directing the flow of foot traffic during visitation hours. * Assisting the Licensed Funeral Director in placing and moving of the casket and other items during the funeral service. * Maintaining a safe and orderly environment * Driving of the funeral coach (Hearse) to and from the church or cemetery. * On the job training. Requirements and Qualifications * Caring, Sympathetic and Committed to provide first class service to the families you assist in serving. * Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. * Ability to lift 50lbs. * Must have a valid Wisconsin Drivers Licenses. * Must follow professional / business dress code. * Must be able to commute to Appleton WI Job Type: Part\-time Salary: From $14\.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 22 per week (Ideal part time job for a retired individual looking for extra income and to keep active).
