Front Desk / Logistics Coordinator for Pet Crematory

**Logistics Specialist – Pet Crematory** **Company:** Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation **Location:** Oceanside, NY **Pay:** $20\.00 per hour **Job Type:** Full\-time (Monday–Friday, morning shift, no weekends) **About the Role** Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation is a licensed New York State pet crematory dedicated to providing respectful and dignified aftercare services. We are seeking a compassionate and detail\-oriented Logistics Specialist to coordinate the return of pet cremains to families and support daily office operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, emotional sensitivity, and the ability to work in a fast\-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in the presence of deceased pets and handling cremains with care and respect. **Key Responsibilities / Front Office Duties** * Greet clients with empathy and professionalism during a difficult time * Collect client information and process billing accurately * Answer phone calls and manage messages in a courteous manner * Communicate with clients regarding cremation status and return arrangements via Quo * Maintain accurate records of all client interactions * Use office software, including Microsoft Office and internal systems **Back Office Duties** * Handle and organize pet cremains with accuracy and respect * Coordinate shipments via UPS, client pickups, and courier deliveries * Maintain inventory of urns and office supplies * Ensure proper matching of cremains with appropriate urns * Conduct timely client follow\-ups to ensure satisfaction **Qualifications** * Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and professional demeanor * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications * Comfortable handling cremains and working around deceased animals * Spanish language skills are a plus **Requirements** * Ability to commute to Oceanside, NY (required) * Prior experience with Microsoft Office (minimum 1 year required) * Must be comfortable working in a crematory environment **Benefits** * Employee discount Compassionate Care Pet Aquamation is proud to be a 5\-star rated company, committed to providing exceptional service with care and dignity.
