We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Embalmer / Care Center Specialist to join our team and uphold The Bunker Way—our commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. **Position Overview** The Embalmer plays a critical role in ensuring that every person entrusted to our care is prepared with dignity and precision. This position works closely with our funeral directors and care team to deliver exceptional preparation, support services, and behind\-the\-scenes excellence that families may never see, but always feel. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform embalming, dressing, cosmetology, and casketing in accordance with company standards and all applicable regulations * Handle decedents with the highest level of respect, care, and attention to detail * Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant preparation room and facility * Coordinate with funeral directors to meet service timelines and family expectations * Oversee identification protocols and chain\-of\-custody procedures with accuracy and consistency * Assist with removals and transfers when needed * Support cremation preparation and documentation (where applicable) * Maintain proper documentation, reports, and case records * Ensure all OSHA, state, and local compliance standards are consistently met * Contribute to a positive, team\-oriented culture focused on service and accountability **What We’re Looking For** * Licensed Embalmer (Arizona) or ability to obtain reciprocity * Strong technical skillset with attention to detail and consistency * High level of personal accountability and professionalism * Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining quality standards * Team\-first mindset with a willingness to step in where needed * Alignment with our values of service, integrity, and continuous improvement **What Sets This Role Apart** Opportunity to work within a modern, high\-standard care environment, including Gilbert Memorial Park A culture built around continuous improvement, not “good enough” Leadership that values transparency, accountability, and doing things the right way The ability to be part of a team that truly prioritizes both family experience and internal excellence **Compensation \& Benefits** Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity for growth within a multi\-location organization **Our Promise** “The Bunker Way reflects our unwavering commitment to operate with the highest levels of service, integrity, and professionalism.
