Part\-Time Death Certificate Clerk Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Starting Pay: $21/hour Job Summary We are seeking a detail\-oriented and compassionate Death Certificate Clerk to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will assist with the processing and filing of death certificates, ensuring accuracy, compliance with legal standards, and timely completion. Your organizational skills and professionalism will help support physicians’ offices, county agencies, and funeral staff during sensitive situations. Responsibilities * Review death records for completeness and accuracy * Process and file death certificates through EDRS * Communicate with physicians’ offices, county departments, * Maintain organized and confidential filing systems * Assist with scanning, filing, data entry, and administrative support tasks * Prepare correspondence and documentation related to death certificate processing * Respond to administrative inquiries professionally and efficiently Preferred Qualifications * Medical terminology knowledge preferred * Office or administrative experience preferred * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality * Detail\-oriented with strong data entry accuracy Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Pay: From $21\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
