Crematory Operator/Funeral Director Assistant Moss Family Funeral Homes We have an outstanding career opportunity in the West Suburban Area of Chicago for Crematory Operator/Funeral Director Assistant. This career will interact with families grieving both the loss of human life as well as their pets lives. This individual will assist in the transfers for both human and pets and will be trained in the operations of the crematory. This person will have an ongoing relationship with local veterinarian and animal hospitals while caring for the deceased bodies of pets. Other job duties will consist of supporting our licensed funeral director staff with funeral ceremonies and tasks related to the care of vehicles and facilities. This fulltime position does offer flexible hours. The on the job training as well as formal class room training can bring the right candidate up to speed quickly.
