Crematory Operator

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated Crematory Operator to join our team. Prior funeral directing experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a supportive environment committed to dignity and service excellence. **Responsibilities** * Operate cremation equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and safety standards * Prepare and process remains with care, ensuring respectful handling throughout the cremation process * Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of industrial cremation equipment to ensure optimal performance * Maintain detailed records of each cremation, including documentation required by regulatory agencies * Assist with setup, cleaning, and troubleshooting of cremation machinery as needed * Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and heavy lifting techniques * Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment **Experience** * Experience with heavy lifting and handling of materials in an industrial setting * Familiarity with industrial cremation equipment or similar machinery is preferred * Background in funeral directing or related fields is a plus but not mandatory * Prior experience working in environments requiring strict adherence to safety standards is advantageous This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach.
